A new calendar could help cut car insurance claims in the UK by reminding motorists about the potential consequences of driving around on dangerous tyres, it has been suggested.Kwik-Fit admitted its Tyre Wall of Shame collection may not be as glamorous as the famous annual offering from Pirelli with its beautiful models and glamorous locations. However, it said the calendar it has produced with 12 images showing the worst examples of the tyres it has examined in 2008 is equally as compelling.David White, customer services director at Kwik-Fit, stated he hoped the company would not feel the need to produce a similar product next year."The last thing we want is to produce a Tyre Wall of Shame Calendar 2010, so we urge motorists to check their tyres regularly to avoid adding to our collection of shockers," he added.Meanwhile, Kwik-Fit previously warned drivers they could be risking car insurance claims by neglecting basic car maintenance and servicing.
