Married men pay less for a car insurance deal, according to new research.
Confused.com has found that males who have walked down the aisle pay less each year by around £106.88 on average.
It added that couples pay less over the period, although it stated that this may be due to women often receiving cheaper deals.
Debra Williams, managing director of Confused.com, stated that it is a good idea for people to thoroughly assess the market before buying.
"It is important to remember that car insurance quotes can vary wildly and so shopping around for the best bet is always advised," she said.
This follows Ms Williams' claim earlier this month that people should be careful not to damage their homes when carrying out improvements.
According to the expert, a botched job could compromise a home insurance policy.
