Those who choose to purchase a Seat Ibiza Ecomotive could find their motoring costs reduced this year.The manufacturer recently described the vehicle as "super-frugal", due to its maximised economy and minimal carbon emissions.In addition, some car insurance policies offer incentives or carbon offsetting for those who drive an environment-conscious car such as the Ibiza Ecomotive, which is road-tax exempt thanks to its "exceptional" output of 88.3 mpg.Seat said yesterday that the buyer of the 1,000th Ecomotive was pleased with the running costs of the vehicle.Nigel Morgan, 55, of North Yorkshire, said the financial benefits were "big factors" in his decision to purchase the car."I used to spend about £70 a month on fuel but now it's only about £50. It's great," he explained.Seat added that new versions of the Ecomotive are planned for later on this year.In the meantime, car insurance customers looking to buy a model from the company could choose from options such as the Leon and Toledo.
