Motorists in the UK can pick up a cheaper car insurance policy when they purchase a Skoda Superb, according to the manufacturer.The Czech-based firm has stated that the 1.9 TDI entry-level vehicle has been given an insurance rating of 6E which is three positions above the Superb on the market now.It could be that people buying the car use the savings made on cover to road tax bills and the cost of petrol.Chris Horrell, Skoda UK product marketing manager, commented that the model is a step forward on the previous vehicle."The new Superb has achieved much improved ratings thanks to enhanced vehicle security, competitive pricing and low cost of parts and repairs. All of these factors contribute to lower insurance premiums for our customers," said the official.Skoda recently announced that it will be premiering its latest Superb at this week's Moscow Motor Show on August 28th.
