Speed cameras are becoming more accepted by British drivers, new research has found.
According to statistics from IAM Motoring Trust, 20 per cent of people live in households where someone has been caught out by the devices this year.
This is down on 2007, when 28 per cent of people were in close proximity to motorists snapped breaking the law, the body added.
It may be that those found breaking the rules in such a manner pick up a conviction which could have an effect on their car insurance policy if cover firms view them as a road risk.
"Hopefully, [the drop in people caught
