Fiat announces collaboration with fashion label

Motorists who are considering downsizing in a bid to qualify for cheaper car insurance and cut other motoring costs may be interested to hear Fiat has released a limited edition 500.The vehicle produced in collaboration with fashion label Diesel is based on the Sport version of the model and comes in either metallic green, brown or black.Fiat has announced 10,000 will be produced and they will include 16-inch alloy wheels featuring the Diesel logo.Those people buying the 100 bhp 1.4 edition will also get yellow brake callipers.Inside, the upholstery is made of denim and the side of the front seats feature pouches which resemble the fifth pocket of diesel jeans.Elena Bernardelli from the carmaker said: "The Fiat 500 is a perfect fit for Diesel and we are pleased to have this fantastic association with them."Meanwhile, the 1.3 MultiJet edition of the model was named the ninth most fuel-efficient UK car in a guide by Which?.
