Carmaker Fiat is set to re-launch its Dino brand with a souped-up version of its Elise vehicle, it has been claimed.Auto news portal Car reported the original Fiat Dino was focused on stylish and affordable transport. The brandname could be resurrected following a deal with Lotus to develop the next version of the Elise roadster. It noted the Dino was first launched in 1966 and was a convertible built around the same body as the 124 Spider.Motorists with car insurance will have to hold off on the vehicle for a short while, as the Fiat should reach showrooms in three year times.Lorenzo Sistino, chief executive officer of Fiat, said: 'I think it would be great to go into the small two-seater roadster market again - and it would be brilliant if we could bring back the Dino badge."Earlier this month, Fiat announced it was entering the final stages of its £50,000 contest to find the most promising inventors in Britain.
