Ford announces autumn deals

Motorists looking to downsize in a bid to qualify for cheaper car insurance and cut other motoring costs may want to visit their local Ford dealership in the coming weeks.According to the manufacturer, it has some "great deals" available until the end of November, including 4.9 per cent finance with no deposit, equipment giveaways and price reductions.Buyers can get their hands on the Fiesta Zetec Blue for £8,995 with a technology pack and Bluetooth connectivity with voice control thrown in - which means customers are saving £1,705.Alternatively, the new Focus in Zetec trim has dropped in price by £1,550 to £13,995.People tempted by this offer will also receive complimentary Bluetooth with voice control.However, another option for people wanting to downsize is the all-new Ford Ka.The model - which makes a cameo appearance in the upcoming Bond film Quantum of Solace - will hit showrooms early in 2009.
