Luxury automobile manufacturer Infiniti has announced the global debut of its new G37 Convertible vehicle.
The model is to be unveiled to the world at the 2008 Los Angeles Auto Show in November and will be launched in the US in 2009. A European release is expected soon after.
It comes with a three-piece automatic retracting hardtop which helps the car retain a couple-like roofline, while a unique interior treatment can also be purchased for the car.
But car insurance customers may find themselves paying more for policies on a convertible, as it could be considered prone to burglary.
Infiniti commented: "The G37 Convertible is under study for launch in Europe where it would join its sister G models, the G37 Sedan and Coupe, in Infiniti Centres which begin opening across the Continent from October."
Nissan originally established Infiniti in 1989, with sales in North America beginning soon after.
