Fans of the kind of vehicles which require classic car insurance may want to set aside some time for a trip to the states in 2009.It has been revealed - some 43 years after it made its debut the unique 1965 Turin Salon Lamborghini Miura chassis has been bought by Los Angeles-based collectors.The item designed by Gian Paolo Dallara has been in storage for the past 30 years in Cyprus.According to the manufacturer: "The 1965 Salon Miura represents the very first mid-engined supercar theme for all marques and is rightly considered to be the Holy Grail from which all road-going supercars descend."The chassis has now been imported to the US by car specialists Joe Sackey and Gary Bobileff.It is due to undergo a complete refurbishment and will make its debut in America in summer next year.Further details will be published closer to the exhibition date.Last month, Lamborghini described the new Gallardo LP 560-4 Spyder as offering a motoring experience of "unparalleled intensity".
