Peugeot launches 107 in UK

Peugeot has launched its "lowest CO2 and most economical car" in the UK. The revamped 107 may interest car insurance customers who are looking for ways to save money, with its 1.0-litre engine able to manage 62.7 mpg. It may also appeal to green drivers, as its C02 emission levels stand at 106 g/km.According to Peugeot, the 107 demonstrates "further reduced fuel consumption and even closer attention paid to environmental-friendliness". The car also has a new look, with three trim level options available – the Urban Lite, Urban and the Verve special edition, which is has hit showrooms in a new colour, Mandarin Orange. Electric front windows, remote central door locking, side airbags and the option of 2-Tronic transmission are featured in the Urban, while air conditioning, a rev counter and 14-inch alloy wheels also come as standard with the Verve. Other Peugeots available in the UK include the 407 range.
