Motorists in Buckinghamshire have voiced their dissatisfaction over bollards placed at Marlow Bridge in the area, it has been reported.
Bucks Free Press has stated that it has received numerous complaints from people in the region frustrated by the road safety feature.
According to Paul Kellet from Cookham Dean, the sharp edges of the bollards could slash a tyre - something which may result in an accident and a car insurance claim
But transportation coordinator for Bucks County Council Si Khan commented that not everybody experiences difficulties at the site.
She said: "There are thousands of people using the bridge every day. In comparison to the thousands there are only a few encountering problems."
Last month, the same news source reported that fewer people in the area are being caught using their mobile phones behind the wheel.
Some 734 were found guilty of the crime between April and December 2007 compared to 1,620 over the same period of 2006.
