Attendees at the second Bikefest UK at Donnington Park will find that motorbike safety is a key issue at the annual event.
Bikers and visitors who turn up will receive a DVD from the Highways Agency entitled Great Roads, Great Rides which will inform riders about basic but essential maintenance and techniques.
It will also examine overtaking times and how to act if first on the scene of an accident.
The Highways Agency will work alongside representatives of the Derbyshire and Lincolnshire Road Safety Partnerships to increase awareness of the importance of motorcycle safety.
Graham Littlechild, representative of the Highways Agency, stressed the importance of the issue: "Latest accident figures from 2006 show motorcyclists are more than 35 times more likely to be killed or seriously injured than car occupants."
Police in Surrey have stated that almost 40 per cent of collisions in the UK were the result of road-users violating right of way laws, according to the BBC.
