Winner of Honda competition announced

One biker from Surrey may well be looking to renew his motorcycle insurance after winning Honda\'s Test Ride and Win competition.

Garry Moyle from Redhill has ridden away with an XL1000V Varadero ABS in Eclipse Orange Metallic as his prize.

Bikers from across the country took Honda test drives last weekend to be in with a chance of winning the machine they tried out.

Mr Moyle said: "I was over the moon at receiving the news, although a little taken aback as I was sat at my desk and just going about my normal daily work life."

He explained he had chosen the XL1000 Varadero because he wanted a model that was reliable, sturdy and well suited to the daily commute, as well as a bike with plenty of luggage space for weekends away.

Meanwhile, it was recently reported the London Ambulance Service had chosen Honda\'s ST1300 Pan European to be used by paramedic motorcyclists.
