Both Sales and Customer service programmes are accredited by the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) through the Prior Learning Accreditation framework. By working through these programmes, you can gain credits against the CII exams.   

On-Boarding Process

Whichever business area you choose, you'll have an induction to give you an idea of how we work and what training to expect. You'll meet lots of people on similar programmes and start to build a network of contacts that will be valuable throughout your career. Your induction programme will thoroughly prepare you for your job. You will also be provided with ample on-the-job support. We will ensure that you have a very smooth transition from training to your workplace.

Continuous Professional Development 

Your development journey doesn’t end at an induction training level. Everyone in the company is entitled to 2- hours study time per week to pursue personal development related to their career. Be Wiser's Undergraduate Programme

The increasing costs of a University education have made it difficult for many to continue studying. This combined with the demands by employers for relevant work experience has made the working world a difficult place for undergraduates & graduates

At Be Wiser we recognise this and want to give young people a positive start on a real career with real qualifications, but without the debt!

Do you want to earn a salary and be independent?

Do you want to learn new skills and obtain qualifications specifically tailored to your chosen career?

Are you seeking a career where the rewards are limitless?

At Be Wiser, as part of our SureStart scheme, you can achieve all of the above. 

Over the three years you are on the programme, you will study towards the Advanced Diploma in Insurance (ACII) which is equivalent to degree level.

We want to give you experience, provide you with a qualification, and find you an area where your talent can be put to use!

During the three years you will be getting stuck in with the business, spending time across all areas to get a sound understanding of how it all fits together to create a successful insurance broker.

Choosing a career is one of the most important decisions you will have to make, and it is one that will affect you for the rest of your life. So how then do you choose a career?

At Be Wiser, as part of our KickStart scheme, we are sure you can find the answer to the above. 

We are offering you a unique opportunity; something which no graduate programme or other local employer currently offers – a stepping stone to kick-start your career!

How to be successful in the selection process

There's ONLY one basic rule when you're applying for any of these programmes with Be Wiser. Don't panic! We're not trying to trick you or trip you up.

It’s all about you getting to know us and for us getting to know you.

So, here are a few hints and tips

    • Take a look at our five Be Wiser values and think about any situations in your education, life or work experiences where you've demonstrated these behaviours.
    • Do some research on Be Wiser but it's also ideal to read up on our competitors, and insurance in general.
    • Be prepared to demonstrate your passion to help customers. At the end of the day an insurance broker is all about its customers.
    • Feel free to ask everything you want to know in the interview – this is as much an opportunity for you to see if we're right for you as the other way round.
    • Do come prepared with the questions you would like to ask us in the interview
    • Most importantly be yourself!
    • Think of examples of your strengths so you can bring them to life.
    • When it comes to doing the tests themselves, make sure you've put enough time aside to complete them.
    • Finally the Assessment Event is designed to help us get to know you better, not to catch you out. You'll have a mix of assessments, both in teams and individually.

The golden rule for all, is to enjoy your selection day at Be Wiser. It’s a fantastic way of discovering your potential.
