This is a type of insurance fraud that is similar in nature to that of a ‘Crash for Cash’ Scam. It involves vehicles at a junction in the road. The criminal party will have right of way but will slow and flash their headlights to the innocent party – as if to allow them to merge with the traffic. The criminal party will then accelerate so that they force the other party to crash into them.
