Down’s Syndrome And PBM Team Up At Brands Hatch

Paul Bird Motorsport Ltd has teamed up with the Down’s Syndrome Association whereby team owner Paul Bird is proud to be an ambassador and as one of the most successful teams in British motorsport, they are offering some superb prizes to coincide with the final round of the MCE British Superbike Championship at Brands Hatch this weekend.

Based in Penrith in the Lake District, PBM has won ten British Championships on two wheels with various riders and they are hoping for Shane ‘Shakey’ Byrne to add an eleventh this weekend aboard the Be Wiser Ducati Panigale R.

As part of the weekend’s activities to promote the Down’s Syndrome Association and to raise funds, the team is holding a raffle which includes a selection of superb prizes as follows:

1st prize – 2 VIP Hospitality tickets to any round of the 2018 British Superbike Championship as guests of PBM.

2nd prize – An official PBM Be Wiser Ducati jacket and signed poster of five-times BSB champion Shane ‘Shakey’ Byrne.

3rd prize – An official PBM Be Wiser Ducati T-shirt and signed poster of NW200 Superbike race winner Glenn Irwin.

The PBM promotional staff will have a limited number of tickets available for sale at a cost of £2 each at Brands Hatch this weekend but for those that can’t make it, there is an opportunity to enter online by following this web link.

But be quick because online entries close on Thursday 12/10/2017 to give the staff time to print the entries and add them to the bag with the tickets sold on the day to make it fair for everyone!

Paul Bird:  “I’m incredibly proud to be an ambassador to the Down’s Syndrome Association as it’s the only organisation in this country focusing solely on all aspects of living successfully with Down’s Syndrome. We have had a number of guests come along this year and to see the happiness and joy on their faces in the garage prompted me to want to do more to help. Hopefully, we’ll raise a substantial amount of money via the raffle.”
