Be Wiser Insurance

Motorists who do not get their vehicles taxed are to be cracked down upon as part of a new initiative, it has been reported.According to the BBC, the Driver & Vehicle Agency has stated that models found to be in violation of the law during the scheme will be clamped or towed away. This could prove to be a problem for those looking to keep their car insurance no claims policies intact, as cover firms could view them as a road risk and increase costs.Chief Inspector Ian Blayney remarked that a number of cars are difficult to trace as they are driven by criminals."Many are not only unroadworthy, but are often driven by people who have no driving licence or insurance, presenting a real danger to all road users and pedestrians," he said. This comes as the Peterborough Today has stated that a tax disc has been stolen from a car in the area.
