The All-Weather Championships are underway and Lingfield Park - home of the £1.1 million Finals Day on Good Friday - is preparing to stage the first high profile fixture of Season 6.
 
CHURCHILL TOPS THE BILL ON LINGFIELD CARD
 
Lingfield Park will stage the first big Middle Distance race of the new season when the Listed CHURCHILL STAKES - a Fast Track Qualifier for the £200,000 Easter Classic on Finals Day- takes centre stage on 17th November. The mile and a quarter race will be supported by another Listed Fast Track feature, the Golden Rose Stakes, which will give the top winter sprinters their first outing of the campaign.
 
NEWMARKET RAIDERS EARN GOLDEN TICKETS
 
Two Newmarket-trained horses have already secured the sought-after golden tickets for the All-Weather Championships Finals Day. CONCIERGE was the first to qualify by taking the 3YO Sprint heat at Newcastle on the opening day for George Scott, followed by Roger Varian’s Fillies and Mares Qualifier RASIMA - winner of last week’s Listed Fleur De Lys Stakes at Lingfield Park.
 
BREEDERS CUP SUCCESS A PROUD DAY FOR NEWCASTLE 
 
Wonder filly ENABLE’S stirring victory under Frankie Dettori in the Breeders’ Cup Turf at Churchill Downs in Kentucky last weekend was another feather in the cap of Newcastle’s £12 million All-Weather track. John Gosden’s dual Prix de l’Arc De Triomphe heroine cut her teeth as a two-year-old in a mile maiden stakes on the Gosforth Park Tapeta in November 2016.
