FELLOWES FILLY ENHANCES PADDOCK VALUE

Getting the well bred filly ISANGO to win was paramount for Newmarket trainer Charlie Fellowes who succeeded in his quest at Wolverhampton on Friday evening. The daughter of top sire Dansili, who races in the colours of top owner Sir Anthony Oppenheimer, scored on her handicap debut over seven furlongs under jockey Stevie Donohoe.

KING’S LOOKS A STAYER WITH A FUTURE

KING’S ADVICE hasn’t looked back since joining Mark Johnston from France. The son of the great Frankel supplemented his easy win at Kempton Park with another success at Wolverhampton last Saturday when he stepped up to a mile and three-quarters. Jockey Joe Fanning predicts a bright future for the entire in staying handicaps on turf.

ALMIGHTY PERFORMANCE FROM FLIGHTY FILLY

Tom Dascombe’s FLIGHTY ALMIGHTY has been a difficult filly to train but was on her best behaviour at Wolverhampton on Saturday when she won an extended mile novice stakes under stable rider Richard Kingscote, beating odds-on favourite Ebury. She could now head back onto turf after showing promise on debut at Ascot last season.
