PJ McDonald’s fine form shows no signs of stopping following his win in Southwell’s feature handicap last week.

A jockey who enjoyed his best ever year in 2017 continues in great form on the All-Weather, while three Fast Track Qualifiers for Good Friday’s £1 million Finals Day will take place within the next few days.

McDONALD STILL FARMING THE WINNERS

Last year was a memorable one for jockey PJ McDONALD, who achieved over a century of winners including a first ever Group One success on Fillies’ Mile heroine Laurens. He has continued his good form into 2018 with a string of winners on the All-Weather including a feature handicap success on Zaeem at Southwell.

WOLVERHAMPTON UNDER FINALS DAY SPOTLIGHT

Wolverhampton will be back under the Finals Day spotlight on Monday when the West Midlands track stages a Fast Track Qualifier for the £150,000 Marathon Final on Good Friday. Among the entries for the two-mile contest are Godolphin’s top rated FRONTIERSMAN, track winner Watersmeet and leading All-Weather trainer Mick Appleby’s promising new recruit Cape Cova.

MORE FAST TRACK ACTION AT KEMPTON PARK

A Fast Track Qualifier will also take place at KEMPTON PARK next Tuesday, this time for the 3YO category, while a place in the Mile Final on Good Friday will also be up for grabs at Dundalk in Ireland this weekend. There are 24 Fast Track races throughout the season – four in each of the six Championship categories: the Mile, Marathon, Fillies and Mares, 3YO, Sprint and Middle Distance.
